The Confident Winning Tennis Player™

This is a systematic program that has proven to help recreational to professional tennis players consistently to develop a bulletproof mindset and excel in matches.

What makes this program different from most sports psychology or mental training?

1) Sometimes books and coaches offer affirmations or try positive thinking such as: “Be confident”, “Focus on the process”, or  “Have fun”? They are great intentions but those tools are what I’d like to call ‘bandaid solutions’ because they don’t create lasting changes. They only focus to get rid of the emotion or pressure when it arises. In this program, I go to the root to drastically reduce the emotion in the first place by teaching players how to rewire their subconscious mind based on proven methods from neuroscience.

2) Some of my clients have worked with other sports psychologists or mental coaches before and told me that felt a lack of connection. The players received the mental strategies from ‘the book’ but couldn’t resonate with the psychologist or coach as they hadn’t been in their shoes or didn’t understand everything that’s involved with competitive tennis. After having competed in tennis for 16 years as a top-ranked junior, D1 college tennis player, and having competed in Future events, I know all the ins, outs, and challenges that come along with tennis both on and the off-court at all levels.

3) There are many online courses out there nowadays. They lack the 1-1 coaching, don’t provide nuances when tools don’t seem to work, or they don’t help you to find blind spots so you miss high-quality guidance. If you want to develop true confidence and accelerate your results, then you need world-class support. Someone who truly cares about you, has a proven success record with other athletes who were in a similar situation, can spot your blind spots and save you a lot of time and struggle which is what I offer.

4) Most psychologists and coaches do (bi)weekly 1-1 sessions. In this program, there is daily accountability and feedback from me to help you accelerate your transformation and get results faster. On top of that, this program is not a quick fix but focused on long-term mindset development for tennis players on and off the court so you’ll get access to video training that you can rewatch anywhere and anytime.

I was comparing myself with others and I put a lot of pressure on myself. I worked really hard but never felt I was reaching my potential. I also never gave myself credit for what I was doing well so Nathan helped me acknowledge my accomplishments which was very helpful. I had to stop playing due to a leg injury. Through the coaching process, my legs started to feel better and it allowed me to play again. Overall, I have a much better understanding of how my mindset impacts my emotions, body, performance, and results. I feel more okay with being uncomfortable, I enjoy matches more (which was my goal), and play much better too!

Kyle Johnson (25 yrs)

D1 & Pro Tennis Player

I really enjoyed working with Nathan because he is very patient and positive. He knows a lot about tennis through his years of experience which makes it easy to communicate because he understands very quickly in what areas you need help with. He gave me a whole new perspective on the game even though I have been playing tennis for over 10 years now. He changed my mindset and this helped me improve a lot as a tennis player. I have become calmer and mentally strong on the tennis court which helped me to play better.
J.V. (18 yrs)

Women's D1 College Player

I used to struggle with pressure in matches, distracting thoughts, and was focused too much on external factors that negatively impacted my tennis. I liked how Nathan listened and understood my problems very well. He helped me gain new perspectives that has allowed me to look at myself more positively and enjoy tennis more. Through his coaching, I’ve gained more control over my focus, emotions, feel less nervous, but most importantly, I feel better when I play.
