Made it to line up, Confidence from 5.5 > 9/10 and Ability to deal with pressure from 5 > 8.5/10 in matches within 12 weeks

I used to struggle with pressure in matches, distracting thoughts, was focused too much on the score that negatively impacted my tennis. I liked how Nathan listened and understood my problems very well. I gained new perspectives that have allowed me to look at myself more positively and enjoy tennis more. Through his coaching, I’ve gained more control over my focus, emotions, feel less nervous, but most importantly, I feel better when I play. In a period of two months of working together, I moved up the national ranking from 228 to 64! The investment was definitely worth it as I will be using this knowledge for the rest of my life both on and off-court.

I always used to be stressed about tennis and played worse in matches compared to practice. I’ve tried many tools and worked with other psychologists to overcome my nerves in matches. That didn’t help me until I started to work with Nathan. That’s when I started to feel better. I don’t get as nervous anymore and play much better in matches now.

D1 college – results after 4 coaching sessions

I really enjoyed working with Nathan. I felt understood and comfortable sharing some personal challenges. His tennis experience was helpful to relate with and through the visual explanations in the sessions, I understand how my thoughts impact my feelings and tennis better. My new mindset has helped me to feel less pressure. I have become calmer and more confident in matches and that’s helping me to stick to my game plan better. Thanks a lot Nathan!

Julia (18 yrs)

Women's D1 College Player

I was comparing myself with others and I put a lot of pressure on myself. I worked really hard but never felt I was reaching my potential. I also never gave myself credit for what I was doing well so Nathan helped me acknowledge my accomplishments which was very helpful. I had to stop playing due to a leg injury. Through the coaching process, my legs started to feel better and it allowed me to play again. Overall, I have a much better understanding of how my mindset impacts my emotions, body, performance, and results. I feel more okay with being uncomfortable, I enjoy matches more (which was my goal), and play much better too!
